Sadanand Guest House (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and during your stay, how we use it, and the choices you have.

  • Booking details: your full name, email address, phone number, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests and the room you choose.
  • Payment information: online payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank account details. We only receive the payment status, amount and a payment reference.
  • Identification: as required by law, we ask for a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
  • Messages: if you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the information you choose to share. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To check availability, confirm and manage your booking.
  • To send your booking confirmation and contact you about your stay.
  • To process payments and, where applicable, refunds.
  • To meet our legal obligations, including guest registration requirements.

3. Sharing Your Information

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and bookings, such as our payment provider (Razorpay), our secure database host and our email service, and only as needed for those services.
  • We may disclose information to government authorities where required by law.

4. Cookies and Third-Party Services

  • This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Our Contact page and homepage show an embedded Google Map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads, under Google’s privacy policy.

5. Data Security and Retention

  • Your booking information is stored securely and is accessible only to the guest house management.
  • We keep booking records for as long as needed to manage your stay and to meet accounting and legal requirements.

6. Your Rights

  • You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to our legal obligations, in line with applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
